NOVA

The Nova music festival was a psychedelic trance music festival held in the Negev Desert, Israel. On October 7, 2023, at sunrise, Hamas gunmen launched hundreds of rockets at Israel and breached the border from Gaza. Some of the gunmen then infiltrated the festival site, which was about three miles from the border.

The gunmen opened fire on the festival attendees, who were mostly young people. They also took some people hostage. The attack was particularly deadly because the festival was held in an open area, with few places to hide.

Over 260 people were killed in the attack, and dozens more were injured. The Israeli military eventually intervened and killed the gunmen, but not before they had caused a great deal of carnage.

The attack on the Nova music festival was a major escalation in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. It was also a particularly heinous crime, as the gunmen targeted innocent civilians who were simply enjoying a music festival.

False propaganda

The Palestinian propaganda makes a lot of use of disinformation and a false presentation of reality in order to convince of its positions (a tactic typical of any political and military propaganda whatsoever). Through this tactic, it tries to tattoo the image of the State of Israel in the eyes of the world and in the eyes of its citizens, and damage the legitimacy of its existence.

The use of disinformation is also intended for internal Palestinian purposes, including: strengthening the status of terrorist organizations among the Palestinians by appropriating achievements that were not in the war against Israel[3].

Some of the propaganda includes anti-Semitic content based on traditions from the Muslim world or comparing Judaism or the State of Israel to assigned regimes such as Nazism (use of the swastika symbol) or the apartheid regime in South Africa.

freedom for Gaza

Do you support freedom for Gaza? Free Gaza from Hamas! Hamas took over the Gaza Strip after Israel evacuated its residents from there. Instead of using the funds for the reconstruction of the Strip, Hamas has made the residents of Gaza hostages who live under terror and have no future or hope. As part of the propaganda, Hamas blames Israel for the situation, but the truth is that Hamas officials live in wealth, sheltered underground or abroad, while the children of Gaza live in poverty and in danger because Hamas launches missiles and keeps weapon stockpiles near the population, schools and hospitals.
